These workshops looked at techniques that help people focus on the present. Often we can be consumed by our thoughts, worrying about things that may happen in the future or dwelling on things from the past. The aim of the workshop was to learn breathing meditations to help people become more aware of the present moment, including getting in touch with moment-to-moment changes in their mind and body.

This workshop looked at helping people understand more about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The session looked at what is meant by OCD and some ideas about how to manage the intrusive thoughts and the compulsive behaviours that come with it. This workshop was aimed at anyone who thinks they suffer with OCD or who has a close friend/family member that suffers.”
