Knitting Pearls Social Club

Come and join our very happy Weekly ‘Knitting Pearls Social Club’

You’re very welcome to join us. You need to be:

  • Anyone with a disability, or have a long-term health condition
  • Young or Old
  • A complete novice or someone that would like to refresh their memory
  • Capable knitters that would like to teach others
  • Men are particularly encouraged to come and try out

About the Group:

The group is led by Peer Support Volunteer (Patricia Brown) who is very capable, confident, very friendly and supportive. Knitting has been proved to help with people’s long term recovery, wellbeing and learning

You will Learn how to:

  • knit, Crochet or Sew

The Group Aims Are:

  • Teach each other a new skill
  • Socialise and meet new people
  • Create unique gift ideas
  • Help raise money for various organisations including ours.

Is there a cost?

  • The group is free to join, but donations towards refreshment and resources will always be welcome

Where and When?

The group meet every Wednesday from 12.00 pm until 3.30 pm.

Location:

The group is held at our office in Lillie Road, SW6 7SR (near Fulham Pools)

Accessibility:

  • Fully accessible facilities inside and out
  • Blue Badge Parking
  • Good public transport links

We can help you host a group yourself, please let us know and we can help you arrange it.
